Superior Community Theater Opens with new location and new dreams.
We are pleased to announce that Superior Community
Theater is taking a giant leap forward having moved our theater to the Wolffe
Cultural Center located at 2623 West Second Street Duluth, Minnesota.
After three years and sixteen performances, we have decided
to take advantage of new opportunities. This year, you will see four family
friendly favorites, starting with Jesus Christ Superstar starting March 14th
and ending with an “all access” encore performance in Superior Wisconsin at the
Faith United Methodist Church, 1531 Hughitt Avenue. Our mission of “uplifting
community hearts” with multicultural arts promotion, ethnic diversity, and
positive image remain strong, and we are also proud to present our popular
after school youth theater program.
We look forward to continuing our great relationships
with sponsors, designers, press, and all of our fans — and with only days until
show time, everything is in full swing. Director Wes Kruse, along with the
cast, musicians and crew, are committed to making this year's productions the
most exciting and best ever for our audience. We’ve kept the prices family
friendly too; all shows start at $10, with(RSVP)dinner shows at only $18; and
there’s free popcorn for all for all Friday shows!
Open casting calls for children and adults for our next
production, The Wind in the Willows, will take place in early April. Anyone
interested in getting involved as a sponsor, designer, member of the press, or
